The chaplet is sung every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. before the tabernacle in the side chapel of the church. Prayer aids are available if you are new to this practice.
Divine Mercy Sunday 2019 is April 28
Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin following the 12:00 p.m. Mass. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. with musical accompaniment by John Pottkotter, followed by Benediction at 3:00 p.m. Fr. Dave and Fr. Milton will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during this time.
Eucharistic adoration is conducted as a parish community every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. before the tabernacle in the side chapel of the church. A variety of books and reflection materials are available to assist you during your holy hour. A schedule is organized and managed by St. Pius X Pastoral Advisory Council (PAC) to assure that someone is present with our Lord during this adoration period.
A Holy Hour with Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered every Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the church.
Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office or the Work of God (Opus Dei), is comprised of five prayerful components: Office of Readings, Morning Prayer, Daytime Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Night Prayer. All are welcome to join us every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the church to pray Morning Prayer, to recognize and to sanctify the day, and to praise God for His goodness.
Our St. Pius X faith community will pray for your needs. If you or a family member is in need of intercession, or if you have a special intention, please contact Leah Kelly, Pastoral Minister, at 614-866-2859, ext. 113 or lpkelly1987@gmail.com. Faith and the power of prayer can work miracles; no request is too small for God. Our prayer chain has witnessed wonderful healing as a result of its efforts. Request a prayer or become one of our "prayer warriors." This ministry is meeting-free and is conducted solely through email.
