[Revised 01-2018] Please download the Parish Facilities Request Form. This form provides directions on how to complete your request. Rules for use of parish facilities are provided below. If you have additional questions, please contact the St. Pius X Business Office at 614-866-2859 during business hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
We are entering the second building phase of our Continuing to Renew All Things In Christ Capital Campaign. Campus security will continue to be an issue especially as we expand our campus here at St. Pius X Church & School. We appreciate ALL of our ministries and organizations that are on this campus. This makes us a very diverse and strong Catholic Church and School. We want to be a light to the parishioners here at St. Pius X and our extended community here in Reynoldsburg. Please read below the following rules and regulations, which were written to keep our campus facilities beautiful and safe.
1. COMPLETE A PARISH FACILITIES REQUEST FORM
To use any room or facility on campus, the ministry or organization requesting usage must first drop off the Parish Facilities Request Form, available above as a download, to the St. Pius X business office or send an email with the form included to StPiusX@spxreynoldsburg.com. ALL GROUPS are required to use this form to see if the room or facility is available. The business office staff are the only authorized individuals to verify usage of any room or facility on campus. The business office will review all usage requests.
2. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
If there is availability, the ministry or organization will be assigned to the date and time requested and a confirmation email will be sent to the ministry or organization.
3. TRAINING AND INFORMATION SESSION
The representative of the ministry or organization that will be managing the area for the function MUST attend a training and information session with Scott Marsh, Maintenance Manager, for any facility usage and/or Kim Laret, Cafeteria Manager if using the kitchen facilities.
Kitchen Training – When a request for kitchen usage has been approved and a confirmation email has been sent by the St. Pius X business office confirming the approval of your function, the representative of the ministry or organization who will be managing the function MUST complete a training session and review the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual with Kim Laret, Cafeteria Manager. Many issues of contamination and cross-contamination, one, in particular, nut-free kitchen, will be reviewed in your training session. If there is an issue with how the facility is left after your event, a $250 deposit will be required for the next request. If the facility is left without following the SOP manual in detail, the entire deposit will be forfeited and later requests will have to be reviewed in depth by the business office.
4. KEY PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
The day before or the day of the event, the representative of the ministry or organization will be required to stop in the business office before 4:00 p.m. and sign out a key for access. The key MUST BE RETURNED that evening after the function is completed and deposited in the key lock box on the rectory porch. Failure to do so may jeopardize the individual's (and even the ministry's or organization's) future use of the facilities on the St. Pius X Church & School campus. In addition, a key deposit of $20 will be required for any ministry or organization which has failed to follow the instructions above, in the past. This deposit will be forfeited if the key is returned late.
We thank you for all your dedication and the time you spend in making St. Pius X Community a wonderful place for everyone.
