As a parish community, St. Pius X works to bring our school and Parish School of Religion candidates together as a parish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation through activities, organizational support of the requirements and events.

A required parent meeting is held in late October or early November each year. A sponsor and candidate reflection is held in May. Please refer to the Confirmation schedule for all events.

Annually, the Diocese of Columbus Office for Divine Worship sponsors a celebration of adult Confirmation in November. This includes a mandatory retreat. This opportunity enables men and women who have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Eucharist in the Catholic Church to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, thus completing the Sacraments of Initiation. Eligible persons must complete a form available from the diocesan website, submit it to Fr. Dave for his signature, and send this signed form along with a copy of their Baptismal/First Communion Certificate to the Office for Divine Worship.
