This year, the Knights of Columbus Council 5253 will sponsor a new program to help kids stay warmer for next winter by collecting new or gently used coats. We have in the past purchased coats to deliver to McArthur, Ohio, where many children and their families cannot afford to purchase coats. We are attempting to increase the number of coats that help children in this depressed area. Jesus said, “when I was naked, you clothed me.” Here is the opportunity to clothe Jesus in the form of coats for children by making them warmer.
From now until the end of June, new or gently used coats can be deposited in the big bin in a bag marked “Coats.” These coats will be delivered in October to McArthur, Ohio. For more information, please contact Tom Vollmer at 614- 626-2476
