Romans 12:13 New Parishioner Welcoming Ministry
Whether you've just moved into the area and registered with our parish, you're a "new" Catholic and want to learn more about our community, or you're an "old" Catholic returning home who needs a fresh introduction, we warmly welcome you! Our ministry is comprised of volunteers dedicated to the mission of our foundational scripture from Romans 12:13, "contributing to the needs of the holy ones, exercising hospitality." We hope we will see you at our next quarterly brunch so we can officially welcome you and introduce you a little to St. Pius X. Please contact us if you need more information.

Volunteer & Service Opportunities
Volunteers are invited to join us in welcoming new members to our parish. This ministry is appropriate for men and women, adults 18 years and older, and teens 13-18 with parental/guardian supervision. This ministry is perfect for those with the gift of hospitality who enjoy welcoming and meeting others. Love of cooking is a plus!
Four "welcome" brunches are hosted in the Parish Family Center each year in February, May, August, and November following the Sunday Mass at 10:15 AM. Volunteer teams are assigned to work two quarterly brunches each year from approximately 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Food is cooked at home. Volunteers also phone 1-2 newly registered parishioners each year to welcome them and answer any questions they may have about St. Pius X. We ask that calls be made during the afternoons and evenings, and not after 9:00 PM. Team members attend a single business meeting, held either annually or every other year as the need dictates.
