St. Pius X Parish participates in a number of recognized programs and organizations by operating a parish-based chapter of the organization or conducting a ministry that helps in supporting the programs' objectives. 

 

 

Walking with Purpose

Walking with Purpose is a women’s Catholic Bible study. The program aims to bring women to a closer relationship with Christ. Personal study and small group discussions are held each week to link our everyday challenges with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. This program's content and small-group discussion format has been designed for women who are college-age and older. An important component of Walking with Purpose is to build Christ's community through regular engagement with each other.

Knights of Columbus Fr. Andrew Hohman Council #5253

The Knights of Columbus was founded by Venerable Servant of God Father Michael McGivney, a New Haven parish priest, in 1882, the Knights of Columbus was organized to provide charitable outreach and care for the financial well being of Catholic families. Its primary focus was protecting and supporting widows and orphans, and strengthening the faith of its members. This Catholic fraternal organization offers an opportunity to share your skills and talents with other men of St. Pius X, while developing strong bonds of friendship through parish, community and civic projects.

Dynamic Catholic Book Program

Dynamic Catholic®, an organization founded by author Matthew Kelly that is dedicated to spreading the Catholic faith through various media outlets, produces low-cost, quality books for use as parishioner gifts and for book studies.

That Man is You

That Man is You! is a multi-year program that addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive. Semester-long programs are developed for men age 18 and over and are focused upon a particular theme, Semesters last from 22-26 weeks. Building Christ's community through regular and consistent engagement is an important component of the overall program.

Knights of Columbus Women's Club

Knights of Columbus Women's Club is a charitable and social organization that exists to develop fellowship and to promote mutual understanding and common interest among its members and Father Hohman Council #5253 Knights of Columbus. This Catholic fraternal organization offers an opportunity to share your skills and talents with other women of St. Pius X, while developing strong bonds of friendship through parish, community and civic projects.

Joseph's Coat

Joseph’s Coat of Ohio provides clothing, household goods, and furniture to those in need in our community. St. Pius X works ecumenically and in partnership with other eastside congregations, including Eastpointe Christian Church, Messiah Lutheran, Parkview Presbyterian, and Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church.

Red Cross Community Blood Drive

Give the gift of life. St. Pius X regularly organizes and supports several of the local bloodmobiles each year by providing calls to and scheduling potential donors and by volunteering to work the canteen.
