Mission Statement

As the Pastoral Advisory Council (PAC) we are called by God, and the people of St. Pius X, to be prophets to the parish and the larger community. Therefore, as faithful witnesses to the Gospel and our Catholic tradition, we are committed to service by discerning the community's present needs and envisioning its future.

PAC is composed of the pastor and appointed representatives of the parish whose primary function is to discern the present and future needs of St. Pius X Parish and to direct responsibly the resources at hand to the fulfillment of those needs. Eucharistic Adoration 

St. Pius X Pastoral Advisory Council will assist in initiating Eucharistic Adoration at St. Pius X beginning Wednesday, November 2. Adoration will be available every Wednesday from 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM. Please access more information at Eucharistic Adoration.

 

Suggestion Box

Pastoral Advisory Council operates an online Suggestion Box in order to fulfill its mission of discerning the present and future needs of St. Pius X. Activities like Eucharistic Adoration have been a result of such suggestions. Please access our online Suggestion Box and share an idea to improve St. Pius X.

General Yearly Schedule

 

GENERAL YEARLY SCHEDULE

In late August, we kick off our year with a one-day retreat that includes team building, spiritual reflection and discernment of several important goals for the upcoming year. From this discussion, subcommittees are formed to create and develop specific and measurable action plans.

Pastoral Advisory Council (PAC) has a business meeting the first Monday of each month to assess the progress on our goals, as well as discuss other key events impacting our parish.

In the spring, we assess our future PAC member needs and review new member applications.

Upon completion of the review process, the PAC President-Elect will contact those selected to serve as future PAC members and ask those not selected to reconsider in future years as our needs are ever-changing.

As a member of our parish who is a practicing Catholic and is over the age of 18, we encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the Pastoral Advisory Council (PAC) Application Form so that we can better inform current PAC members of your qualifications

After we assess our future member needs in the spring, our PAC President-Elect will contact you to let you know if we have a position available and if you are approved. At that time, he or she will provide you with information about your next steps. If for some reason we cannot extend a membership position to you, you will be encouraged to re-apply in future years, as our needs are ever-changing. To apply for PAC you may either:
