We have a number of ministries dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of our parishioners through prayer and scripture, faith sharing, adult faith formation, and sacramental preparation. These ministries help us all to develop our interior relationship with Christ and His Church. Each ministry provides opportunity for participation and/or volunteer involvement. A secure contact form is provided for each page so that you can reach out directly to the ministry chair or leader.

Baptism is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation along with First Eucharist and Confirmation. Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

Adult Faith Formation

Faith Formation opportunities help parishioners to know, understand and grow in the Catholic faith and to give personal witness to the love of Jesus and His Truth.

Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation along with Baptism and Eucharist. We work to bring the school and Parish School of Religion candidates together as a parish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation through activities, organizational support of the requirements, and events. Confirmation is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2019, at 7:00 PM.

First Eucharist & Reconciliation

First Eucharist (or First Communion) is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation along with Baptism and Confirmation. First Reconciliation is a Sacrament of Conversion through which, by admitting our sins and vowing to do penance for them, we receive God's grace to do so and are reconciled to God through His merciful forgiveness. First Eucharist is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019. Children are scheduled for either the 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM Mass.

St. Pius X Pre-Cana Program

Join the parish team and help us prepare and mentor adults and children in their journey toward full inclusion in the Catholic faith community through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC), also offered, is an adaptation of RCIA developed to meet the needs of children and youth.

St. Pius X Vocation Prayer

In every age Lord, you raise up women and men who are strong in their faith and bold in their actions to give witness to the Gospel.

Fill St. Pius with Your Spirit and give us a burning desire to make a difference in our world because of our love for You.

Bless our Church with holy and courageous priests, deacons, religious sisters and brothers, devoted married couples, dedicated single men and women and enthusiastic youth.

We ask in Jesus' name.
