Construction on Phase I Begins
Due to all of your generosity and commitment through honoring your capital campaign pledges, we have started construction on Phase I. On Tuesday, May 30, our general contractor, architect, maintenance supervisor, and capital campaign chairman attended the pre-construction meeting at Reynoldsburg City Hall. After reviewing all plans, we received our final permit. On Wednesday, May 31, we began construction. You will be noticing some heavy equipment on campus that will be used to remove the roof of Hohman Hall. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress.
In addition, we have replaced the compressor and charged the secondary air conditioning unit for the church. We should be able to maintain a cool temperature even during the hottest months of summer. We were able to complete this long-awaited project through a generous rebate from Dee Printing, the company that creates our bulletin.
Pledges Still Needed: Phase II, Narthex
Remember, we are still in need of new capital campaign pledges. We want to continue our efforts to expand the narthex of the church. Please use your green capital campaign envelopes or pick up a pledge envelope in the vestibule of the church. Msgr. Funk, the capital campaign team, and all the staff of St. Pius X want to thank all of you for your continued support and prayers for this wonderful endeavor.
